Quality Policy:

O’Haras of Foxford produce over 140 different varieties of traditional bread and cake products. The company’s market policy is to source quality ingredients to ensure that O’Hara’s offer the consumer consistently high-quality in everything they produce.

The constant enforcement of this quality policy, in addition to an increased focus on new product development and investment in the most up to date packaging, assists the company in maintaining its position as a major player in the cakes category, as well as increasing its market share in the bread and cake sector.

Quality & Hygiene Awards:

We have been involved in Quality and Hygiene Standards Accreditation Programmes for almost 30 years including the Excellence Ireland Hygiene Mark and Quality Mark standards and in more recent years the British Retail Consortium (BRC) Global Standard for Food Safety. This strong company commitment to Hygiene and Quality is reflected in the numerous awards and accreditations achieved by the company throughout the years including the National Overall Hygiene & Food Safety Award, from Excellence Ireland.

Producing such a vast range of Bread and Cake products, and distributing to all the major retailers and independent stores, O’Hara’s has come a long way since that 1951 Sweepstakes win. But the company are very aware and grateful to their consumers who continue to remain loyal to the brand and purchase O’Hara’s products on a regular basis, which in turn supports employment for many people.
